Communication Skill: ASSERTIVE TECHNIQUES FOR SUPPORTING TEAM

 Overview
Supposedly to deliver assistance to many other teams, we often find difficulties in reconciliating needs with resources. And while doing so, poor communication skill may lead to bad situation, or worse, to a conflict. Such situations should not necessarily happen, and provided with proper  techniques we can maintain effective communication using what we call "assertive techniques"
Assertive techniques strike the balance between aggressive and passive style. It allow you to deliver your message without being arrogant or indifferent. This sweet spot can be achieved by employing techniques derived from NLP approach to interpersonal communication.


Training Objective
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able:
to differentiate between aggresive - assertive - passive
to craft message that is clear and concise without ambiguity
to deliver message with decency and dignity
to establish the fundamental of assertive techniques: mood - perspective - reframing
