Skill: ASSERTIVE TECHNIQUES FOR SUPPORTING TEAM
June, 19th – 21st 2013 –Bandung
Overview
Supposedly to deliver
assistance to many other teams, we often find difficulties in reconciliating
needs with resources. And while doing so, poor communication skill may lead to
bad situation, or worse, to a conflict. Such situations should not necessarily
happen, and provided with proper
techniques we can maintain effective communication using what we call
"assertive techniques"
Assertive techniques strike
the balance between aggressive and passive style. It allow you to deliver your
message without being arrogant or indifferent. This sweet spot can be achieved
by employing techniques derived from NLP approach to interpersonal
communication.
